Welcome to the North Fulton Council PTA!
May 1, 2010
The North Fulton Council of Parent Teacher Associations (NFCPTAs) is a member of the 10th District of the Georgia State PTA and National PTA.
The purpose of the council is:
- To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship.
- To raise the standards of home life.
- To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
- To develop a cooperative relationship between parents and teachers.
- To secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.
- To unify and strengthen local PTAs.
- To provide conferences, training and resources to local PTAs to encourage child welfare projects; and to assist in the formation of new PTAs.
- To promote the interests of the National and Georgia PTA.
Currently the North Fulton Council of PTAs proudly represents 51 local PTAs and PTSAs (Parent Teacher Student Associations) in North Fulton.
Our theme every year is “everychild, one voice.”
Through parent, family and community involvement we can make a difference in the lives of our students and impact their level of achievement.
